not posting anymore... bleh
I just quickly looked at my past posts and how often I would write and publish a blog. It was kinda crazy! I didn't even realize I had so much to say. Definitely the novelty rush.
So many posts so early on
Other than the novelty of blogging wearin off, there's been two big factors that contributed to my slower blog pace.
Overall, life just got busy. In my opinion, boredom creates the most creative thoughts. When I would be bored, I would watch a lot of video essays, check out the discover page, or just sit and ponder at the ceiling. A lot of my blog posts came from boredom and inspiration from others.
In September I also spent A LOT of time formatting my blog space into what I wanted. I loved that so much <3. Might revamp my entire theme just to play around with HTML again.
Anyway, life has gotten busy and I don't want to pressure myself to write and post for the sole purpose of my timeline looking more consistent. So I canceled my premium subscription! I genuinely hate how ingrained capitalism is in my brain, but the idea that I was paying for a subscription I wasn't utilizing to the MAX was stressing me out. When my life has chilled, I hope to come back to posting to the people of the web.
